Contradictions in the Qur'an

Topic of the month

Did Jesus move to Heaven in his body according to the Qur'an?

The Qur'an says indeed that Jesus was taken, not only as a spirit, but also in his body to Heaven:

"Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise" (4:158).

Note that nowhere is mentioned that Jesus changed from a body to a spirit. On the contrary, he ascended to Heaven in his complete body. This is a confirmation of the Gospel, "I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” (John 20:17).

Qur'an 3:55 and 4:158: Did Jesus rise from the dead?
